Six real boosters, opened and shuffled together, drafted two players at a time. Seven cards come out; one of you divides them into two piles and the other takes the pile he prefers, and then the roles swap. When the cards run out you build a forty-card deck, lands included, and it is read back to you.

This exercise practises Creatures and The Art of Drafting, and the deck at the end is read by the rules of Mana and The Secrets of Sealed. The same six boosters opened alone, and built without anyone to divide them against, are The Prerelease; the cut that ends this one is practised on its own in Cutting to Forty; and the ranking the opponent values a card by is the one you give cards in Sorting a Booster.
